RETRO a five-year retrospective of works by Pajtim Osmanaj presented offsite by Deep Space Gallery

On view in this body of work is five years’ worth of Pajtim Osmanaj’s experimentation with materials, evolution of conceptual content and development of multiple series.  Sculpture, paintings, works on paper and installation art curated by Deep Space Gallery’s Keith VanPelt and Jenna Geiger will be on view.

Artist Statement : Pajtim Osmanaj (b. 1990, Istog, Kosovo) attended the Art Academy of Kosovo. Pajtim Osmanaj's work is wide-ranging, moving seamlessly between abstraction and representation, from neutrals to bold palettes, from two- to three- dimensions. Within his body of work are landscapes, narrative works, functional and decorative sculpture, works on paper, paintings and installations of both large and small scale. His process is meditative and experimental, often with repetitive motifs that morph into new ones.
