“MOSSTOPIA” at The Cocoon Recording Studio: Art Installation + Film Screening is open to the public during Saturday, October 5th from 5-9pm.  Patrons can enter the recording studio and observe a wide range of music gear as they peruse the installation.  “MOSSTOPIA” – the film – is being screened on a loop.  The theme of the work comprises a dystopian narrative… a surrealistic aerial and macro view depicting what the world might look like after humans are no longer here on this earth.  The viewer engages in a journey across time, space, and moss! Narrated by Paula Croxson, contributing flutist (and professional lecturing neuroscientist) and features violin from Rebekah Stickler. Sound Design by film scoring duo, The Signatures.  Written by Tabitha Booth.  Directed and produced (designed and fabricated!) by Corey Zack and Tabitha Booth.  On display – as part of the art piece – is Booth’s handpainted, “Gaia’s Guitar” previously displayed at Pace Gallery (NYC, 2023).  Come in and enjoy this massive art installation and film! Light refreshments will be served.  For more, visit our website.
